Orbium bags fifth Great Place to Work® Award
Orbium, a leading global financial services business and technology consultancy, has been named one of the Best Companies to Work® in Singapore under the Small Organizations category.
This is the fifth time that Orbium has received this award. Earlier this year it won in Hong Kong and Germany, in London in 2015, and in Warsaw in 2014.
The Great Place to Work® award recognises companies that have been “exemplary in building and sustaining inspiring and high-performing workplace cultures”. Employees in these companies have been found to trust their organisations, enjoy their working environment and have pride in what they do.
Joann Yong, Orbium Singapore senior HR officer, said: “We are very pleased to have won the award as it shows that our ongoing efforts are recognised by our peers. ‘The Great Place to Work’ recognition reinforces our collective effort to build an excellent culture of trust, fairness and give recognition where it is due. Rest assured, we will continue to push forward to achieve greater heights.”
The awards ceremony was held at the One Farrer Hotel on November 9th. Dr. Gregor Halff, professor at Singapore Management University, emphasised effective two-way communications and its role creating great and inclusive workplaces in his key note speech.
